+1 on not expanding past 2% target. Look at it this way: There are far too many 'vested' entities that like (dare I say LOVE) inflation. Deficit spending Governments for one. Combine that with corporate 'opoly' structure, and comfort level with pricing power, the Genie never gets back in the bottle.
